Adam's biography

Adam LaMotte's bio

Adam LaMotte is no newcomer to venues in the northwest. He has appeared with the Oregon Symphony, Oregon Ballet Theater, Portland Baroque Orchestra, Trinity Consort, and the PSU Symphony, appearing as soloist. He is chronically bi-coastal, regularly performing in New York with the American Virtuosi, the Wild Ginger Philharmonic, and the Orland String Quartet, of which he is a founding member. He has studied both baroque and modern violin with Danny Phillips, Jorg Schwartz, Ken Goldsmith, and Ani Kavafian. He plays on a late 18th century Italian violin. In his spare time he works as an instructor for a local mountaineering school.
